Service Description

Directors expect authenticity. Casting directors can spot when you’re “forcing it.” And audiences only connect when the emotion is real. So why risk being caught faking it? This one-day, hands-on workshop trains you in the Alba Method, a scientifically proven technique that gives actors the tools to safely and reliably access six core emotions at any intensity, on command. No waiting for “inspiration.” No hoping your memory recall works this time. Just consistent, truthful emotional access you can depend on in rehearsal, performance, or on set. If you’ve ever wished you could turn emotions on like a switch, this class is your opportunity. About the Instructor: Dr. Linda Brennan is a Level 3 Alba Method Instructor with over 20 years of experience as a voice, speech, and dialect coach, theatre educator, and director. She has trained hundreds of actors in theatre, film, and television and is the author of Stage Fright in the Actor (Routledge, 2020). With credits ranging from Pasadena Playhouse to South Coast Rep, and a dual career in psychology, Linda brings both scientific expertise and artistic insight to the actor’s emotional process. What to Bring: A water bottle, notebook, and clothes you can move comfortably in.
