ACT III: Professional Acting Certificate
in Los Angeles
ACT III is a one-year professional development acting certificate in Los Angeles designed to help accelerate your career in film, TV, theater, and digital media. This conservatory-style curriculum helps you train like a working actor, develop your craft, and gain the skills needed to succeed professionally while saving you time and money you might otherwise spend figuring it out on your own. This program is designed for students to be able to learn while still building a life and career. Actors are encouraged and supported in working on outside projects, and class schedules are created to provide a work-study-life balance.
This pathway serves as your bridge from talent to opportunity and from potential to profession.
With ACT III, you will receive professional acting training in Los Angeles, work on original projects, and build your career with confidence.
This program is presented in collaboration with the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory (LAPAC) and is open to domestic and international students. Please note that your application will go directly to LAPAC, and a member of our team will reach out to you. Auditions can be scheduled by emailing info@futureartistsla.org. Auditions and applications can be completed concurrently. You do not need to have filled out your application by the time of your audition.

Apply for the ACT III Professional Acting Certificate in Los Angeles. Auditions will be held the first week of February, both virtually and in-person. To request an audition slot, email info@futureartistsla.org. Applications do not need to be completed by the time of your audition, but applicants will not be considered for the program until they have completed both an application and an audition.

What Makes ACT III A Career Accelerator?
Structured around five pillars of professional acting and creative career launch, ACT III ensures that students receive comprehensive training while building real-world career momentum in Los Angeles.
Four Comprehensive Quarters
There will be an Industry Professional Masterclass or Workshop as well as three one-on-one mentoring sessions in every quarter.
Quarter One: Film Series
Classes include Pathology Key, On-Camera Dynamics, Business of Producing, and Film Script Analysis. The quarter culminates with a short film festival featuring work created by students throughout the series.
Quarter Two: Television Series
Classes include Booking the Commercial, Acting For Television Genres, Writing Your Pilot, and Voice-Over Technique. The quarter culminates with a screening of recorded Television scenes featuring the students.
Quarter Three: Digital Media
Classes include Stand Up Comedy, Launching Your Career, and Digital Content Creation. The quarter culminates in a professional showcase for an invited audience of industry professionals.
Quarter Four: Theatre Series
Classes include Advanced Acting Techniques, Rehearsal, and the Character Key. The quarter culminates with a live theatre performance
