Two Year Acting Degree Program

Two-Year Acting Degree Program
LAPAC’s seven-quarter Associate of Occupational Science in Acting provides comprehensive training for stage, film, and television. Students develop their craft through acting technique, voice, speech, movement, on-camera work, and live performance, building the discipline, imagination, emotional truth, and versatility required of the contemporary actor.
ACT III Professional Development Acting Certificate (presented in collaboration with Future Artists of Los Angeles)
ACT III is a one-year advanced professional development program for actors with previous postsecondary training or qualifying professional experience. Designed for today’s multihyphenate artist, the program develops professional skills across film, television, voice-over, commercials, stand-up, sketch, social media, and original theatrical work. Students create short films and original pilots, refine their on-camera and audition technique, develop their professional brand and materials, gain performance credits, and receive mentorship from working industry professionals.

This culminating performance highlights two distinct stages of an actor’s development: the comprehensive craft training of LAPAC’s two-year program and the advanced, industry-focused work of ACT III. The showcase introduces these graduates to the industry as disciplined, prepared, talented, and thoroughly vetted emerging professionals who are ready to work. Together, the graduating artists will present work that reflects their growth, versatility, creative voices, and readiness for the next chapter of their professional lives.
