Los Angeles Community of Acting & Entertainment (LACAE) theater and school offers affordable, flexible theater rentals for independent artists, companies, and organizations. Our nonprofit campus is designed for performance-based work and creative use, with two distinct spaces available depending on the scale of your project. You can book through Peerspace and Giggster or by contacting us directly.

Main Stage
A 75-seat black box theater suited for performances, showcases, comedy, classes, and filmed or livestreamed events.

Sawyer’s Playhouse
An intimate 35–40 seat black box ideal for rehearsals, readings, workshops, small productions, and creative work sessions. Technical capabilities and staffing are available based on use and schedule.

Our Mainstage is a fully equipped black box theater ideal for performances, showcases, readings, classes, screenings, workshops, and livestreamed events. With flexible seating for 75, it offers a classic theater experience.
