About the Instructor: Steven Fisher Step into the world of spontaneous performance with Steven Fisher! An accomplished actor, improviser, and writer, Steven brings a dynamic blend of training from USC, BADA, and the renowned Upright Citizens Brigade. He specializes in on-camera work and the business of acting, offering invaluable insights for navigating the industry. As a company member at Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum and a performer with indie improv teams across L.A., Steven provides real-world experience. He's also dedicated to mentoring young creatives through Young Storytellers, making him an ideal guide for aspiring teen improvisers. About Series One: Foundations of Performance Series One is the ideal launchpad for young performers eager to take center stage. Whether you're just beginning or looking to sharpen your skills, this dynamic series builds the essential tools that every great performer needs. Over six weeks, students train in one, two, or all three core disciplines: Acting, Musical Theater, and Improv. Classes are guided by professional instructors who know how to bring out the best in each student. At the end of the series, students share their growth in a lively, family-friendly performance of scenes, songs, and improv games—an exciting opportunity to shine in front of friends, family, and peers.
