Service Description

Experience Level: Career-Focused Recommended For: Actors with prior training who want to strengthen audition technique, self-tape skills, and professional confidence in a real-world casting environment. Join our 4-Week Audition Intensive, designed to give actors the tools they need to compete and book in today’s self-tape–driven industry. With self-tapes now the norm, it’s essential to know how to prep efficiently, stay playful under pressure, and take ownership of your work on camera. In this intensive, you’ll learn how to prepare like a professional, direct yourself with confidence, and use playback as a tool rather than a distraction. The focus is both artistic and technical—helping you deliver grounded, compelling work while mastering the mechanics of modern auditions. Structure Each week, students will receive a scene two days before class, simulating a real audition timeline. At the start of class, you’ll perform the scene on camera, receive targeted notes, and then perform it again at the end of the session, applying adjustments in real time. This process builds consistency, confidence, and repeatable habits you can trust when it counts. Advance Registration Ends January 25 About the Instructors Kapil Talwalkar Kapil Talwalkar is a four-time series regular, with credits including Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist (NBC), Night Court (NBC), and the upcoming horror-comedy The Burbs.
