Experience Level: Open Recommended For: Actors and improvisers at any stage who want to strengthen instincts, build ensemble, and make bolder choices in the moment. Join us for the Improv Lab. Each week, you’ll work with Sarah Claspell to sharpen your instincts, trust your point of view, and grow more comfortable making bold choices on the fly. You’ll practice the core techniques that make improv feel grounded and fun: listening, support, discovery, and staying fully present with your scene partners. Over the course of the month, your group will build a true ensemble, culminating in a live performance in Week Four where you take the stage together. Early Registration Ends January 20 About the Instructor Sarah Claspell is an actor, comedian, and writer based in Los Angeles. Her work includes appearances on Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Make Some Noise (Dropout). She is a co-owner of World’s Greatest Improv School, a teacher and performer at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, and performs regularly with acclaimed improv teams including The Bozos, Cardinal Redbird, Voltron, and Never Better. Sarah also co-hosts the variety show Asian AF and the musical theater podcast Everything Is Rent. Her festival credits include SF Sketchfest, Edinburgh Fringe, Das Improv Festival (Berlin), Vietnam Improv Festival, and Midsummer Comedy Festival (Stockholm).
